Stanley H. Pantowich

Stanley H. Pantowich is Managing Director, CEO of TAG Associates, LLC. Mr. Pantowch spent the first twenty years of his career at Arthur Young and Co. (now Ernst & Young). He served for 10 years as a tax partner in several senior level positions before leaving to co-found TAG Associates in 1983. TAG, which was formed in 1983, serves as both a family office and as a portfolio management advisor. As of March 31, 2005, it had 46 clients for whom it provided all aspects of wealth management and household administration (from portfolio oversight and tax planning/return preparation, to bill payment and recruitment of personal staff) and 38 clients for whom it rendered portfolio management services on a “stand-alone” basis. Its clients range in profile from the first generation entrepreneur to financially sophisticated multi-generational families. Clients also include financial neophytes who find themselves in situations requiring expertise beyond their scope and experience. In addition to numerous relationships in the New York metropolitan area, TAG has clients dispersed throughout the United States. The aggregate value of TAG’s clients’ securities portfolios totals over $4.0 billion, of which over $1.7 billion is invested in various hedged investment strategies. He is the author of many articles, has lectured widely in the field of taxation, and has chaired or co-chaired several conferences dealing with family office and wealth management issues. Mr. Pantowich serves on numerous Boards of Directors including the American Jewish Committee-New York Branch, the National Foundation for Jewish Culture and Alpine Capital Bank. He is Chairman of the Investment Committee and serves as Treasurer of the Jewish Home and Hospital for the Aged. In 2005 he was honored with Private Asset Management’s first Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his pioneering work in the field of family wealth management. Mr. Pantowich is a graduate of the University of Illinois (BS-Accounting) and of the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School.
