Stephen Wilson

Dr. Stephen Wilson is Executive Vice President of the La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology. He is also the co-Principal Investigator and Project Director of the Immune Epitope Database and Analysis Resource and Executive Director of the Institute’s RNAi Center. Working closely with executive management and directly with research faculty, Dr. Wilson is responsible for the Institute’s technology infrastructure and strategic planning of systems, as well as broader basic research initiatives. Before joining LJI in 1997 Dr. Wilson trained in basic medical research. He was a research fellow of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society while studying the immunologic basis of autoimmune disease. He holds a B.S.A. in Microbiology and a Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Arizona’s School of Medicine.
