Mr. Bastable joined DKCM in August 2002. Mr. Bastable was appointed Managing Director in January 2007 and became a Managing Member of DKCM in January 2008. Mr. Bastable co-manages the distressed investments department. From 1997 to 2000, Mr. Bastable was a Vice President at Saunders Karp & Megrue, L.P., a private equity firm. From 1995 to 1997, he worked as an analyst in the Financial Entrepreneurs Group at Smith Barney Inc. Mr. Bastable received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 2002 and an A.B., cum laude, from Princeton University in 1995.
