James Haddaway

JAMES HADDAWAY is President of Corriente Advisors, LLC, where has been a partner since 2006.  Corriente is an SEC registered investment advisor, which oversees approximately 800mm in assets under management.  James is responsible for overseeing the operations of the fund, risk management and investor relations.  Before being promoted to President, James served as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operations Officer and Chief Compliance Officer.Before joining Corriente, James was Vice President of corporate banking at Regions Bank where he specialized in derivative financing for middle market companies.  Prior to joining Regions Bank, James worked at Frost Bank where he was a commercial and industrial credit analyst and was later promoted to a senior-level lending position.  James received a BA in Spanish from the University of Texas at Austin and later attended the SMU banking program.James serves on the 1883 Council for the University of Texas at Austin, a group of young professionals that promote philanthropy and awareness for the university.  James recently rotated off the board of CASA of Tarrant County after 6 years.
