Doug Cliggott

Managing Director, Credit Suisse

Doug Cliggott is a Managing Director of Credit Suisse in the Investment Banking division, based in both Boston and New York. He is the firm’s U.S. Equity Strategist responsible for determining and communicating Credit Suisse’s recommendations for U.S. equity strategy.Mr. Cliggott joined Credit Suisse in October 2009 from Dover Management in Greenwich, CT, where he served as the Chief Investment Officer. Prior to that, he was an Economist and Strategist for the Zenit Fund, a long/short global equity fund at Brummer & Partners in New York. He was previously a managing director and the U.S. equity strategist at J.P. Morgan.Mr. Cliggott holds an M.A. in Economics from the Graduate Faculty of the New School for Social Research and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. Mr. Cliggott serves as a director of the University of Massachusetts Foundation and is a member of the Foundation’s investment committee.
