Rob Tilliss

Rob Tilliss founded Inner Circle Sports in 2002.  Mr. Tilliss has a long history as a leader in the corporate finance community having led many ground breaking transactions over the past 20 years.  Since its inception, ICS has taken on many high profile assignments both in the US and internationally including the acquisition of Liverpool Football Club, Sunderland Football Club, the New Jersey Nets, the Boston Celtics, SportsFive and Setanta, and the financing of Wembley Stadium and AT&T Park, among others.  Mr. Tilliss has been responsible for over $10b in M&A transactions, $2b in capital raising and $2b in stadium financing at ICS.  Prior to forming ICS, Mr. Tilliss spent 15 years at JP Morgan where he was Managing Director and Group Head of the Sports Advisory & Finance Group.  During his tenure, Mr. Tilliss expanded JP Morgan’s activities in the sports, media and entertainment sectors and was responsible for delivering the full breadth of the firm’s products to a global client base.  In 2005, Mr. Tilliss worked with Fortress Investment Group to establish a presence in the area of sports facility finance and infrastructure.  Mr. Tilliss was twice recognized by the Sports Business Journal as one of the industries 40 under 40.  Mr. Tilliss is a graduate of the University of Rochester.  He resides in Bedford, NY.
