Tony Gannon

Tony Gannon is the Founder and CEO of Abbey Capital. With over 20 years of experience in managed futures, macro and foreign exchange investment, Tony brings both a trading and fund management perspective. Prior to founding Abbey Capital, Tony co-founded Allied Irish Capital Management (AICM), in conjunction with AIB Bank, Ireland’s largest bank. He helped grow the company to become one of the largest European CTA and a top ten global leader with funds under management growing from an initial $50 million to in excess of $1.4 billion. Before co-founding AICM, Tony created and traded a breakout trading program at Gandon Securities, one of the first and subsequently largest European managed futures investment managers. Tony graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Masters in Business Studies with Finance from University College Dublin, Ireland.
