Blair Richardson

Mr. Richardson has over 24 years of business experience that includes investment banking, financial product sales and trading, senior-level management positions, and small business investing. In 2003, Mr. Richardson co-founded and became the Managing Partner in Bow River Capital Partners LLC, a Denver-based private investment manager that currently manages, and is the general partner of Fund I and Fund II. Mr. Richardson has also co-founded and will be the Managing Partner of Bow River Capital Partners II, LLC, the General Partner to Fund III and Fund IV. Mr. Richardson dedicates a significant portion of his time to Bow River Capital Partners LLC and the General Partner, however, he also invests time on political interests and not-for-profit organizations. Prior to forming Bow River Capital Partners, LLC, Mr. Richardson was the Managing Partner of B.E. Richardson Investments (“B.E. Richardson Investments”), Chief Executive Officer of TGS Properties, Inc. (“TGS Properties”), and Non-Executive Chairman of TGS North American Real Estate Investment Trust (“TGS REIT”). B.E. Richardson Investments was a private investment company that invested in a variety of industries throughout North America, including oil and gas companies, insurance, distribution, real estate (commercial development, etc.), natural resources, and banking. Between 1996 and 2006, the company made 30 investments totaling approximately $40 million, which produced a weighted average IRR of approximately 25%. TGS Properties was a Calgary-based commercial real estate and land development company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange with assets located primarily throughout Western Canada. TGS REIT was a Calgary-based diversified cross-border real estate investment trust listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange with approximately $400 million of properties in Colorado, Texas, and Alberta (Canada). It was the first U.S.-Canadian cross-border real estate investment trust and completed a $150 million initial public offering in December 2002. Previously, Mr. Richardson was with Goldman Sachs in New York and then with Morgan Stanley & Company from 1987 to 1995. During his time at Morgan Stanley, Mr. Richardson served as Managing Director of the Fixed Income Department in New York, President of Morgan Stanley Japan in Tokyo, and Vice Chairman of Morgan Stanley Asia in Hong Kong. Mr. Richardson received his education at Aden Bowman Collegiate in Canada.
