Charles R. Walters

Charles R. Walters is a Registered Investment Adviser with more than 20 years’ experience as a financial adviser, investment banker, and attorney. He is the founder of The Money Clarity Group, which provides consulting to individuals, families,and wealth management firms on the personal and family dynamics of wealth and money. Training for investment advisors is also provided. This facilitates advisors understanding and awareness of their clients money attitutudes, perspectives, and core values. Clients are able to realize their values, vision, and purposes through aligning their financial resources with these. Previously he was with JPMorgan Chase’s wealth management and private client service division in New York City for nine years. In the 1980s Mr. Walters was an investment banker with Thomson McKinnon Securites and Commerical Union Capital. He developed and structured private placements for high net worth investors. He was also an attorney with the chief counsel of the Internal Revenue Service. Mr. Walters is a frequent speaker and teaches workshops on the personal and emotional dynamcis of money and wealth, Money Clarity. He works with the Episcopal Diocese of Washington on the larger dimensions of money in our lives, aligning our wealth with our meanings and purposes. He earned an M.B.A. from Columbia University, a J.D. from Washington & Lee University, and an L.L.M. from Georgetown University. He holds the Series 7, 63, 65, and 31 licenses.
