Philip J. Eagan

Chief Operating Officer, Viking Global Investors, L.P.

Mr. Eagan is the Chief Operating Officer at Viking responsible for recruiting, counterparty relations and investor relations. From December 1996 to July 2001, Mr. Eagan was a Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns & Co., Inc. where he was most recently the Global Head of Equity Capital Markets responsible for the origination and execution of all public and private equity transactions. Prior to his Equity Capital Market role he was a senior member of the management team overseeing the Equity Division. Mr. Eagan served on Bear Stearns' Commitment Committee, Stock Selection Committee and the President's Advisory Council. From 1992 to 1996, Mr. Eagan was President of Discovery Partners, Inc., a hedge fund management company. Mr. Eagan was with Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., Inc. from 1979 to 1991 as a Senior Vice President where he held various management positions, most recently as the Managing Director responsible for the Institutional Equity Department with oversight of all research, sales and trading activities. Mr. Eagan was a pension and endowment consultant with A.G. Becker from 1976 to 1979 and a sales management executive with the Allstate Insurance Company from 1971 until 1976. Mr. Eagan holds an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University (1977) and is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame (1970).
