Dayton, T. Carr

Founder and Managing Director, Venture Capital Fund of America (VCFA)

Dayton T. Carr (New York), the founding Managing Director of VCFA Group, founded VCFA in 1982. Starting in 1968, Dayton was a venture capitalist, making direct venture investments, prior to founding VCFA. He has served on the advisory boards of several venture capital partnerships and serves on the Boards of Directors of The Alden Group and Kolob Development Corp., Inc. Dayton is a member of the National Venture Capital Association and is a member of the New York Venture Capital Forum. He graduated from Brown University and received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
