Stephen L. Weiss

Prior to MSW, Mr. Weiss worked as a consultant to Tremblant Capital, a multi-billion dollar equity hedge fund. Prior to Tremblant, Mr. Weiss joined Lehman Brothers at the end of 1997 and co-managed the Global Institutional Equity Sales effort with an employee count of approximately 150. He was also a member of the Global Sales Executive Committee, US Cash Executive Committee, the Equity Commitment Committee, and the Investment Policy Committee. Before joining Lehman, Mr. Weiss was at SAC Capital where he was one of the individuals resposnsible for managing the firm. Prior to this, Mr. Weiss continued his sales career and focus on hedge funds prior to joining the Equity Research Department where he co-managed the Global and US effort at Salomon Brothers. Prior to Salomon, he was recruited into Lazard Freres & Co. to build out their institutional equity business, staying at the firm through the end of 1992. Mr. Weiss has a B.S. in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson and a J.D. degree from St. John’s University.
