Alfred Jackson

Chief Executive Officer / Managing Member, Siridean Advisors LLC

Currently, Mr. Jackson is one of the Managing Members of Siridean Advisors LLC, a boutique investment management firm that has as its client base families and family offices. The firm’s stated goal is to provide superior risk adjusted returns for its clients by finding emerging managers in the alternative investment market. Prior to founding Siridean Advisors LLC with his brother, Donald, Mr. Jackson held a number of senior executive positions at Credit Suisse First Boston now Credit Suisse Group. From 1985-1990 he was the Head of US Equity Research and during that period the research group held one of the top three positions in the Institutional Investor All Star team and was ranked either #1 or #2 in the Greenwich Associates Survey. Mr. Jackson the was number 1 ranked analyst in the food category for four years prior to becoming Director of Equity Research. In 1990, he was named the Head of Portfolio Sales and then in 1993 he moved to London to become the Head of European Equities as well as be the Head of Global Sales for the firm. He returned to the US at the end of 1994 to be the Head of Global Equity Research. From 1994 to 2003, he did a number of different projects including the integration of several acquisitions for CSFB but he remained the Head of Global Equity Research. From 2000 to 2003, Mr. Jackson served as one of eight members of the Global Equity Management Committee, which was the decision making body for a business with 2,500 employees and with revenues exceeding $3 billion. In addition, Mr. Jackson also served on the Executive Board of CSFB. Eventually, Mr. Jackson was the Chairman of Securities Research setting the strategy for the integration of equity, fixed income and high yield research . Mr. Jackson served as the non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Interstate Bakeries, which became the largest US bakery. He was also a board member for Bumble Bee Seafood and one other LBO in the food industry. Mr. Jackson received a BA and MBA from Columbia University. He and his wife, Deborah, who attended the Graduate School of Business at Columbia, are Benefactors of the University.
