Jeff Weber

Jeff is the President and a Partner of York Capital Management and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. He is also the portfolio manager of York’s Total Return funds. He is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Firm, strategic planning and risk management.Prior to joining York in 2004, Jeff spent 12 years with William A. M. Burden & Co., L.P., most recently as its President & Chief Executive Officer, where he was responsible for the investment of certain assets of the Burden family. Previously, Jeff worked at Chemical Venture Partners, the venture capital and leverage buyout arm of Chemical Bank, and in the corporate finance department of Drexel Burnham Lambert Incorporated.Jeff received his B.A., cum laude, from Williams College and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.Jeff is currently a Director of iStar Financial Inc. and the York Enhanced Strategies Fund. He is a Vice Chairman of The Carter Burden Center for the Aging and also serves on the Department of Medicine Advisory Board at the Mount Sinai Medical Center.
