Michael Reeber
Michael Reeber Co-Founded Agamas Capital Management, LP in 2004, an asset management company focused on relative value and special situations investing. Since inception, Reeber was the Portfolio Manager of Corporate Securities and a member of the Management and Investment Committees. Previously, Reeber was Managing Director at Deutsche Bank. In 1997, he was hired by Deutsche Bank to build the firm’s U.S. convertible sales, trading and research capabilities. From June 1998 through June 2001, he served as Global Head of Convertibles, based in New York where he managed sales, trading, research and pricing of new issues. From June 2001 through August 2003, Reeber was Head of Asian Equity Derivatives and Japanese Cash Trading based in Tokyo . During this time, Reeber was responsible for Asian program trading, regional prime brokerage, Japanese cash trading and Asian equity derivatives. Prior to his work at Deutsche Bank, Reeber was employed by Salomon Brothers from 1988 until 1997. Reeber served as an analyst for bond market research for two years beginning in 1988 before completing Salomon’s in-house training program in 1991. From 1991 through 1997 he was responsible for trading U.S. convertibles for the U.S. proprietary desk and for customer facilitation. Prior to that, Reeber was a Design Engineer with Pratt & Whitney in Connecticut.Reeber holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, a Masters of Engineering with a concentration in Aerospace Engineering from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from New York University.
