Susan Byrne

Susan M. Byrne is the Founder, Chairman and CIO of Westwood Holdings Group, Inc. (NYSE: WHG), a publicly held institutional asset management firm with approximately $8 billion in assets under management.   Founded in 1983, Westwood manages investment assets for corporate pension funds, public retirement plans, endowments and foundations and mutual funds. Ms. Byrne is a board member of the Southwestern Medical Foundation, Grace Presbyterian Ministries and is a member of The Dallas Citizens Council.  She is a former board member of UTIMCO, a private non-profit company that manages approximately $19.3 billion in public funds.  She is also former board member of the City of Dallas Employees Retirement Fund and the Governors Business Council.Ms. Byrne has over thirty-seven years of Wall Street, portfolio management and plan sponsor experience.  She is a frequent guest on CNBC and has been featured in numerous financial publications such as; Barrons, Smart Money, Wall Street Journal and Fortune.  .
